The Emerald Ensemble is a lively and exciting chamber orchestra, important to the musical life of the South West of England.
The ensemble performs a variety of repertoire that extends from Baroque to Contemporary Classical, Jazz and Tango.
In a concert which includes Arvo Pärt’s popular and atmospheric “Fratres”, the Emerald Ensemble provides a rare opportunity to hear a Haydn Symphony performed as a stunning chamber work, in the arrangement made by the 18th century impresario and violinist Johann Salomon.
