We were established in 1944 in order to provide Bournemouth with recitals of the finest chamber music played by the best artists available, and we have faithfully endeavoured to fulfil this aim over all these years.

From October 2010 our concerts are being given at Bournemouth University, Fern Barrow, off Talbot Avenue BH12 5BB.  A new lecture theatre has now opened in Kimmeridge House, which has a magnificent state of the art acoustic system, and our concerts take place there (from February 2011). This hall is directly adjacent to the Lees Theatre where our first two concerts in 2010-11 were given. Disabled patrons can be driven right up to the hall to be set down close to the entrance. You will find the usual friendly atmosphere, with free parking and refreshments in the interval, in addition to the high quality concerts upon which we have built our reputation.
