Bournemouth Chamber Music has a long tradition of providing performing opportunities for young musicians. The Young Musicians Development Scheme was created to enhance this.

PACA Competition
Several Committee members attended the 2002 PACA (Poole Arts Centre Association) Piano Competition for young pianists, for which we provided one of the prizes.

They were greatly impressed by the exceptional talent of the winner, 14-year-old Cordelia Williams of Salisbury.

As a result, Cordelia, who is a pupil at Chethams School of Music, was invited by Rosemary to give a recital at the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum on 21st June 2003.
